Lehighton Stand Down – January 28th, 2026
Please note: Lehighton Stand Downs are Veterans-Only Events.
Today we want to thank our 6 Volunteers for helping 56 Veterans and 30 Dependents in Lehighton. We were able to assist 86 individuals! VALOR distributed 200 items – including FREE clothing, boots, shoes, and winter wear, we assisted Veterans with hygiene bags, and other needs.
We extend our sincere thanks to American Legion Post 314 in Lehighton for their ongoing support of our monthly Lehighton Stand Downs and for their continued dedication to helping VALOR Clinic carry out its mission. Veterans and Volunteers expressed their appreciation for being able to host the Stand Down inside the Post and get out of the very cold weather!
For Veterans and homeless Veterans in need of basic necessities (including clothing, footwear, and non-perishable meals) and connections to supportive services, as well as those interested in Volunteering, our next Lehighton Stand Down takes place on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026 - from 8:30 am until 12:30 PM.
