Army veteran Hancock successfully defends title, wins fourth Olympic gold in men’s skeet

CHATEAUROUX, France – Army veteran Vincent Hancock successfully defended his Olympic men’s skeet title, outlasting teammate and protege Conner Prince to win Saturday afternoon at the Chateauroux Shooting Centre.

The 35 year old totaled 58 points in the victory. Prince finished with 57.

Chinese Taipei’s Meng Yuan Lee took the bronze in the six-competitor final.

With the victory, Hancock picked up his fourth gold medal in men’s skeet, becoming the second shooter in Olympic history to win four individual gold medals. The other was South Korea’s Jong-oh Jin.
