East Stroudsburg Stand Down at Dansbury Park – July 13, 2025
Today we want to thank the 24 Volunteers and our team who conducted the Dansbury Park Stand Down, including Volunteers from Helping Hands & Beyond, Pocono Grace SDA, RSVP, Stroudsburg’s Rotary Foundation. Warm thanks to the Knights of Columbus Council 11935 from East Stroudsburg, who come out to Danbury every month to provide a hot meal, coffee, snacks, water, and conversation for all of us!
Volunteers helped provide much needed basic essential items to 13 Veterans, 5 Dependents, and 31 Civilians, for a total of 49 individuals helped. The weather was in the 70s and humid.
VALOR distributed 766 items – including clothing, shoes, socks, and underwear as well as 14 food bags and 16 hygiene bags. We appreciate everyone who dropped off donations during the Stand Down.
