Hazleton Stand Down – June 1, 2025
Today we want to thank our 13 Teammates and Volunteers for helping 6 Veterans, 3 Dependents and 82 Civilians at the Hazleton Stand Down today. Thank you also to the Hazleton Mess Tent group for providing food for attendees and volunteers.
Despite the cool, cloudy, and windy weather, we were able to assist 91 people today – including 9 individuals under 18 years old.
Thanks to generous donations, we were able to distribute 1,447 items, 5 food bags and 12 hygiene bags today. Items may include clothing, shoes/boots, underwear, socks, outerwear, water, tents, and other needs.

If you are unable to volunteer in person, there are many ways that you can help VALOR Clinic continue to support Veterans, Homeless Veterans, and their families as well as community members in need with our FREE services / programs.
Donations can be dropped off in VALOR Clinic Donation barrels in the area, on the front porch at 4418 Wagner Drive, Bethlehem, or shipped or dropped off directly at VALOR, our Veterans homeless shelter. The address is 1130 Scenic Drive, Kunkletown, Pa 18058. (570) 664-6468
