Lansford Stand Down – April 19th, 2025
Today we want to thank our 19 Teammates and Volunteers for helping 17 Veterans, 10 Veterans Dependents and 122 Civilians. On this beautiful day with temperatures in the 70s, we were able to reach 149 individuals! This included 52 participants under the age of 18.
VALOR distributed 1,023 items today. In addition to food, water, clothing, shoes, tents, and a hot meal, we assist Veterans, the homeless and citizens in need with food bags, hygiene bags, and other needs.
Special thanks to students and staff from Marian Catholic High school, CRS Club in Tamaqua! They made and served the lunch for attendees and helped us unload/load the vehicles!
