Lehigh Valley Stand Down – May 24, 2025
Today we want to thank our 59 Lehigh Valley Stand Down volunteers for conducting the Stand Down on May 24th, 2025. This includes Volunteers from St. Nicholas, Life Church, Red Poppies and St. Francis. The weather for this Spring event was cool and cloudy.
Easton: We served 4 Veterans, 1 Dependent and 23 Civilians (28 Total). Bethlehem: we served 3 Veterans and 12 Civilians (15 Total). Allentown: we served 0 Veterans and 14 Civilians (14 Total). The Total numbers: 7 Veterans, 1 Dependent, and 49 Civilians – a total of 57 individuals assisted today. We distributed 575 pieces of clothing, as well as food and hygiene items. Volunteers provide a Hot Meal, Fresh Fruit, and Snacks at each stop.
