Lehighton Stand Down – April 23rd, 2025
Today we want to thank our Teammates and Volunteers for helping 66 Veterans and Dependents in Lehighton. On this warm and sunny day, we were able to assist 108 individuals!
In addition to food, water, clothing, shoes, tents, and a hot meal, we assist Veterans, including the homeless with food bags, hygiene bags, and other needs.
Special thanks to Lehighton Second Harvest Food Bank for working with a local volunteer group who in turn reaches out to local food shops to arrange bag lunches for attendees today. Thanks also to the two volunteers from Amazon in the Wilkes-Barre area who joined us today. We appreciate everyone’s hard work and support.
