End of year giving is an important time in our fiscal year. End of year giving gets us through the winter months helping us pay the bills until our springtime grassroots fundraisers begin.

Our four program collective impact approach provides human care approaches to the Veterans life challenges. Here are the results. Our recidivism rate among homeless program graduates is below 5% after 9 years. Our suicide rate among Veterans Unstoppable program graduates in still zero after 12 years. 

We crossed the million meals provided threshold in fall of 2022. Our homeless shelter will provide 17,885 meals to residents this year. Our homeless outreach stand downs will have provided approximately 20,250 meals. 

Our holiday meals will have provided approximately 46,000 meals to Veterans and their families. Our smaller programs like household goods and housebound Veterans will provide another thousand or so. our Veterans Unstoppable program even more. We have provided thousands of hours of counseling hours and classes. Introduced healthy lifestyle alternatives to drinking and drugs. 

Furnished dozens of apartments for homeless Veterans coming off the street. Touched the lives of nearly 1800 homeless or at risk Veterans in the streets with clothing, hygiene items and survival items. Improved housing access to amputee Veterans with two paid staff, on a total payroll of $4,000 a month, a volunteer board and workforce. With an average of .90 cents on the dollar donated going to the cause--not in our pockets!!
