Veterans struggling with the war to peace readjustment encounter significant cultural norms that cause tremendous conflict in their lives. Their military level expectations seem to exceed civilian performance norms. They rarely understand what they perceive as gross negligence and apathy and it frustrates them, creating social conflict.
Veterans struggling with the emotional scars of war have the hardest time making the necessary adjustments required to flourish in the new environment. These struggles result in relationship challenges, workplace conflicts, homelessness and suicide. We currently work diligently to reduce their social conflict and heal their emotional scars. In the future we expect to bring innovative approaches to their unique health challenges as well
