Furniture Pick-Up and Delivery
We conduct move in assistance by providing food and housewares to newly housed Veterans.
People who are living outdoors rarely have furniture, linens, or kitchen wares.
We provide these items to make their new place a home.
You can help us by donating serviceable items to help outfit these newly housed Veterans, or volunteer to help move them in.
If you have questions about specific items that we take, please call us at Paul’s House.
Call (570) 664-6468 to request assistance in the matter.
*Please note, we are not a moving service. If you have furniture you’d like to donate, we will pick it up within our region. If you are a veteran moving into a new apartment/house and have a need for furniture and household items, we will deliver.
Keep in mind when donating, most of our veterans are moving into small one bedroom or efficiency apartments.
Veterans must have a signed lease and keys in hand prior to scheduling a furniture delivery.

Considerations For Donations
All electronic devices should be in excellent, like-new, or new condition.
*We do not have the capacity or budget to store and/or dispose of old electronic devices that are not serviceable and/or deprecated.
All furniture and household goods should be in excellent, serviceable condition.
*We do not have the capacity or budget to store and/or dispose of furniture items that are not serviceable and/or in need of repair.
Our furniture pick-up and delivery teams are all volunteers. We do not have the capacity/manpower to make repairs or to clean a donated item.
Newly housed veterans are typically starting over and move into low-income housing. We want our veterans to feel at home and not have to worry or stress over the small stuff. If we can provide a comfortable living atmosphere, we’ll have removed some burden and can allow our veterans to move forward.
Our vets are always so appreciative of the support they find within the VALOR family of volunteers and donors!
Help us to make a huge and immediate positive impact on the lives of our struggling veterans!
