9-year-old reaches out to the community to collect blankets for veterans

Donors come in all ages, Kaisey Bowden is a 9 year old 4th grader at Stevenson Elementary in Heath, Ohio who collected blankets for VALOR Clinic Foundation and homeless veterans while doing a Pay it Forward project.

She gave VALOR 13 blankets that will make a big difference for veterans in need! Blankets are important item to keep homeless veterans not only warm, but these keep their items dry, used as bedding. What would you do without your blanket to keep you warm at home?

Every year we’re collecting thousands of winter items such as blankets, coats, gloves, hand warmers, hats, boots and many other cold weather clothing items that are handed out to veterans and other in need who are homeless.
