First Wreaths Across America Event at Kissimmee Rose Hill Cemetery
A salute to American Legion Post 10 in Kissimmee, and others, for putting together the first official Wreaths Across America wreath laying ceremony at Rose Hill. Over 300 wreaths were placed on veterans graves at the cemetery on Dec. 16, and Post 10 organizers are looking to place over 600 next year, which will mean every known veteran grave there receives a wreath. Of course, veterans groups and others in St. Cloud have been doing this for the last few years at Mount Peace Cemetery, so an ongoing salute to them too!
