VETERANS SUPPORT GROUP By Vets For Vets Helping veterans heal from post-traumatic stress disorder. This program helps Veterans learn to manage the vastly different behavior norms of civilians versus military, tone down the effects of the emotional scars and regain some purpose and direction. The Mission: Assist Veterans with the service to civilian transition regardless of how long they have been out. Efforts focus on social reintegration, overcoming physical challenges, addressing exposures and emotional scars to reduce suicidal outcomes & recidivism among Veterans, first responders and their family members.
Thank you to Michael Remetta, Store Manager of Wilkes-Barre Price Chopper, and Pete Kondrosky, Founder of the Luzerne County Military Affairs Network, for organizing a food drive to support Veterans in our community through VALOR Clinic Foundation. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to every generous customer who contributed to this food drive. Each donation helps provide food, hope, and support to local Veterans in need.
