Volunteers (Veterans and Civilians) Join Forces to build a new deck for a disabled Marine Veteran / Double Amputee

On Saturday December 2nd, Veterans and civilians joined forces to bring hope to a Navy Veteran who’s also a double amputee to build him a new deck and ADA steps. He’s been homebound for over a year and half due to the unsafe steps. Plans where designed, Lumber was donated. We helped to change a Veterans life by taking time out of their own lives to build ADA compliant stairs for a Veteran with prosthetic legs. Watching him throw down his cane when he came out on top of the platform and walk down these steps, go and give hugs and kisses is priceless and emotional. This is what VALOR Clinic Foundation does, provides HOPE to Veterans. We don’t say no, we say let’s get it done!

After spending time clearing yard debris, they went to work building an entry type the Veteran preferred of ADA stairs. Can't be prouder of this team and our supporters who enable our work. Thank you all, the Vets salute you!!
