Veterans Deer Hunting - October 31st - November 1st, 2026 VALOR Clinic Foundation’s Veterans Unstoppable Program includes recreational therapy through outdoor activities such as Fishing on Black Run Creek or Trexler, and Archery Hunting. Join us for a FREE day of Archery Deer Hunting, camaraderie and fun outdoors, created especially for Veterans and their families. No gear? No problem. Two track wheelchairs are also available to ensure everyone can participate.  Call George at 570-242-2627 to sign up. Overnight available.

No Veteran should be forced to choose between celebrating a holiday and paying the electric bill or taking their child to the dentist!     We provide this service around the holidays three times a year – Spring, Fall and Winter.  Holiday Meal Recipients receive a standard food basket.  This Thanksgiving, you can help ensure no Veteran family in our community faces an empty table. Through your support of our Holiday Meals program, Veterans and their families will gather together with full plates, full hearts, and the reassurance that their community remembers and honors their service. 

Help a Veteran Take the Next Step - Volunteer at a Stand Down (Ohio) VALOR Clinic Foundation has some Stand Downs coming up in Ohio (Coshocton, Newark, and Zanesville) and we could use some extra helpers. These events are critical, especially at this time of year, for a couple reasons: Locating homeless or at risk veterans and assisting with shelter & benefits options, Providing warmer winter clothing including undergarments and outerwear, and Building our list of Thanksgiving meal recipients. VETERANS SUPPORT GROUP By Vets For Vets Helping veterans heal from post-traumatic stress disorder. This program helps Veterans learn to manage the vastly different behavior norms of civilians versus military, tone down the effects of the emotional scars and regain some purpose and direction. The Mission: Assist Veterans with the service to civilian transition regardless of how long they have been out. Efforts focus on social reintegration, overcoming physical challenges, addressing exposures and emotional scars to reduce suicidal outcomes & recidivism among Veterans, first responders and their family members.

Help Wounded Veterans Scavenger Hunt & Ride - In Honor of Harry Phillips - October 10, 2026 Proceeds from this event allow deserving Veterans to participate in VALOR's 'Veterans Unstoppable' Program. Veterans Unstoppable is a series of group counseling Retreats means to help men and women who have served to understand their experiences and create positive futures. Date: Sat., October 10th, 2026 Time: Register from 10:00 a.m. until Noon. Kick Stands up at 12:00 P.M. Location: Start & End: The Boat Yard, 251 Canal Street, Lehighton PA 18235 Party all Day.
