From first casts to fly tying, it was an enjoyable day on the water filled with laughs, memories, and time well spent together. VETERANS SUPPORT GROUP By Vets For Vets Helping veterans heal from post-traumatic stress disorder. This program helps Veterans learn to manage the vastly different behavior norms of civilians versus military, tone down the effects of the emotional scars and regain some purpose and direction. The Mission: Assist Veterans with the service to civilian transition regardless of how long they have been out. Efforts focus on social reintegration, overcoming physical challenges, addressing exposures and emotional scars to reduce suicidal outcomes & recidivism among Veterans, first responders and their family members.

Veterans & Family Fly Fishing May 16th, 2026 VALOR Clinic Foundation’s Veterans Unstoppable Program includes recreational therapy through outdoor activities such as Fishing on Black Run Creek or Trexler. One of VALOR Clinic's four cutting-edge programs, the Mission is to assist Veterans with the service to civilian transition regardless of how long they have been out. Join us for a FREE day of trout fishing, camaraderie and fun outdoors, created especially for Veterans and their families. No gear? No problem.
Today we want to thank our Volunteers for helping 66 Veterans and 38 Dependents at the April 22nd Lehighton Stand Down. We were able to assist 104 individuals! Paul's House Veteran Homeless Shelter Needs Hardwood (Firewood) & Volunteers Firewood (split, cut, or whole trees) neededd to support heating and hot water, along with volunteers to assist with cutting and splitting logs.
