We do not think any Veteran or Surviving Military Family should be forced to choose between paying the electric bill or taking their child to the dentist versus having a nice holiday dinner. This program has a high demand for volunteer supporters to help us collect food donations, then build / assemble the gift basket (boxes) and to deliver the meal boxes to our Veterans and/ or Surviving Military families who are food insecure. With your support, we provide Holiday Meals around the holidays three times a year – spring, fall and winter, where we have a standard food basket we deliver. The details are found on the section of our website entitled Holiday Meals, and we are currently asking for food donations for our Springtime holiday meals initiative.
On Sunday, 11-Jan-2026, your support directly helped 45 Veterans, their dependents, surviving military family members and others at Dansbury Park in East Stroudsburg. A rousing Thank You to The Knights of Columbus, The Rotary and Pub 447 for providing food and support, and of course we couldn't have done it without our fantastic 22 Volunteers who came out in strength to help the homeless and our neighbors in East Stroudsburg!
Thank our VALOR Volunteers who helped support local Veterans in Wilkes-Barre on Jan 4th, several of whom are homeless Veterans struggling to find theirway back home. We honor one Marine in particular who moved to Wilkes-Barre several years ago after coming home from Afghanistan however his family subsequently passed away, leaving this Marine without his family. Thankfully, your support allows us to continue bridging the gap, encouraging this brave Marine.
Today we want to thank our 25 Teammates and Volunteers who helped support 102 individuals at our Hazleton Stand Down. Today we want to thank our 7 Volunteers who helped support 29 individuals at our Veterans Unstoppable Meeting/Stand Down. This included 20 Veterans and 9 Dependents, including two under 18 years old.
