Hope for the Homeless is one of VALOR Clinic Foundation’s Four innovative core Programs. VALOR supports Veterans through Stand Downs in 9 Cities, Homeless Veteran Recovery Centers, and Household Goods Assistance. We added our Walk-in-Wednesday monthly event for Veterans and their families. At these events, VALOR gives away clothing like a clothing closet. We provide non-perishable food like a food pantry and distribute vital hygiene items. Hygiene is important for health and well-being and can improve self-esteem.

Today we want to thank our 59 Lehigh Valley Stand Down volunteers for conducting the Stand Down on May 24th, 2025. This includes Volunteers from St. Nicholas, Life Church, Red Poppies and St. Francis. The weather for this Spring event was cool and cloudy.
Today we want to thank our Teammates and Volunteers for helping 70 Veterans and 30 Dependents in Lehighton today. On this cool, cloudy, and rainy day, we were able to assist 100 individuals! In addition to FREE water, clothing, and shoes, we assisted Veterans, including the homeless, with food bags, hygiene bags, and other needs.
