Today we want to thank our team who conducted the Stand Down in Wilkes Barre on September 7th. Thank you to the 17 volunteers, including Volunteers from Helping Hands & Beyond, Valor Clinic and individuals who helped! Not shown in the picture are our friends from the local Outback Steakhouse, who provided a hot meal for the event. The weather was a comfortable low 70s.
Today we want to thank our Teammates and Volunteers for helping 75 Veterans and 39 Dependents in Lehighton . We were able to assist 114 individuals! In addition to FREE water, clothing, and shoes, we assisted Veterans, including the homeless, with food bags, hygiene bags, and other needs.
MONROE COUNTY, Pa. — The Valor Clinic Foundation's mission is to help give veterans a hand up on the home front. That's exactly what is happening at the former dining hall at Camp Trexler in Polk Township.
Today we want to thank our 28 Teammates and Volunteers for helping 14 Veterans, 19 Veterans Dependents and 235 Civilians. On this hot and sunny day, we were able to reach 268 individuals! This included 129 individuals under the age of 18. VALOR distributed over 2,000 items today.

Today we want to thank our 75 Lehigh Valley Stand Down volunteers for conducting the Stand Down in Easton, Bethlehem, and Allentown on August 23, 2025. This includes Volunteers from BIX (Helping Hands and Beyond), Green Pond Traditions of America (Bethlehem), the Red Poppies For Veterans, Saint Francis of Assisi, VALOR Clinic, and Verizon. We appreciate Lisa Walters for taking Blood Pressures today. Thanks to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and the O’Briens for providing a Hot Meal, Fresh Fruit, baked goods, and snacks. The weather was sunny and hot!
