Hazleton Stand Down – June 1, 2025

Today we want to thank our 13 Teammates and Volunteers for helping 6 Veterans, 3 Dependents and 82 Civilians at the Hazleton Stand Down today. Thank you also to the Hazleton Mess Tent group for providing food for attendees and volunteers.

VALOR Clinic Foundation – Seeks Donations of Clothing and Hygiene Items

Hope for the Homeless is one of VALOR Clinic Foundation’s Four innovative core Programs.    VALOR supports Veterans through Stand Downs in 9 Cities, Homeless Veteran Recovery Centers, and Household Goods Assistance.   We added our Walk-in-Wednesday monthly event for Veterans and their families. At these events, VALOR gives away clothing like a clothing closet.  We provide non-perishable food like a food pantry and distribute vital hygiene items.  Hygiene is important for health and well-being and can improve self-esteem.

Today we want to thank our 59 Lehigh Valley Stand Down volunteers for conducting the Stand Down on May 24th, 2025. This includes Volunteers from St. Nicholas, Life Church, Red Poppies and St. Francis. The weather for this Spring event was cool and cloudy.
