In December 2018, Susie Hicks found herself in the unfortunate category of “Homeless veteran.” After receiving the support she needed from the Valor Clinic Foundation, Susie wanted to help give back to the organization and to help her fellow homeless veterans by embarking on a through hike of the Pacific Crest Trail.
Today we are excited to share the continued progress the team continues to make on our Retreat lodge building.
Today we thank Wendy McCartney and Stacey Kramer who held jeans drive at their workplace, Sanofi.
VALOR Clinic Foundation would like to thank Cindy Rothrock and her fellow employees of Thermo Fisher Scientific. Who sponsored a hygiene drive for our veterans.
We want to thank our inspiring team for their efforts at the Hazleton Stand Down on the 4th. They were able to provide important basic needs to 8 Veterans, 5 Veterans family members and 66 civilians. Thank you everyone, the Vets salute you!!
Service projects are an important part of our preparations to help Veterans. We are currently looking for people and groups to perform service projects on our woodlands at The Veterans Sanctuary on Meckes Lane in Lake Harmony, PA in March, April and May.
